That was what I did today, march forth. I started the day with my neighborhood walk and with a stop at Bi-Mart. Then I walked to Starbucks to meet Kathy Christensen for a birthday coffee. She dropped me off at the church so that I could work on display label corrections and additions. There was A LOT of walking back and forth from the sanctuary to my computer. We had a delicious lasagna lunch for the art show volunteers I like to tell myself that it was a luncheon for my birthday.
I love watching the creative process of turning our sanctuary into an art gallery.
I got a ride home in time to walk with my neighbor, Giselle. Then at 4:30 pm, George and I drove out to see Nathan's new workplace. We walked some of the Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve Trails first.
Then we went into the building to see his office.
Cool building and a nice office space.
After the tour, we went to Khantoke Thai Kitchen in downtown Hillsboro. Finding parking was a challenge. The food was very good. George and I drove home, and Nathan drove to his place.
During the day, I got many phone calls, emails, and texts wishing me a happy birthday. It was a great day.
All in all, I walked 11.4 miles. No wonder I was tired.

The photo doesn't do justice to the carved totem pole in the wetlands.
