Silver Falls

The day started out by Jeanne and I going to church.  I was playing handbells.  This is the first time I have attended church in person since Mar 2020.  It was fun to play bells again, even with masks and social distancing. It was Scott Dalgarno's first Sunday with us. George had come to church too.  Nathan was on the church zoom so he took this screen shot.

Nathan came over for lunch.  Rebecca joined us.  

After lunch Nathan, George, Jeanne and I headed to Silver Falls.  We started with the Upper North Falls Trail

Then I went on down to the bridge to get the view from below the falls.  Everyone else stayed near the top.

Nathan had his second Covid vaccine yesterday and he was really feeling it today.  He was dragging.    

He tried to tell us that he could still walk circles around us.  I did not believe him.  I think that he was almost ready to be carried.  

The weather was perfect.  We headed off to Silverton for dinner before heading home.

Margaritas and Jeanne and I split a Reuben. Nathan had a pizza and George had a veggie wrap.

Just don't lean on the bar!!

Nathan decided to spend the night at our place.  I hope that he feels better in the morning.
