Boudza night

Jeanne arrived safely around 1:15 pm.  We promptly put her to work helping with the boudza production.  Our tradition is to my the boudzas every year around the new year.  The actual date does not matter.  Boudzas are kind of like a cross between potstickers and wontons.

It started the night before when I made the cinnamon swirl apple pie.

We had left-over apples so I made apple pie sundaes.

That was fun, flambeed apples which we put on ice cream.  We had baked spring rolls for appetizers.  They had a variety of sauces.

So with the boudzas, Nathan cut the dough, Jeanne made the boudza

and I rolled out the dough.

10 per person.  That is what my mom taught me.

It was a nice dinner.

Then we had the pie.
